The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, a.k.a. "Harry Potter Land," is the newest addition to Universal Studios' Islands of Adventure theme park. (Check out my general review of both parks.) And it's where you'll find the Hogwarts attraction– a ride through Harry Potter's school that is easily the most amazing thing I've been on at any park (and I'm a big old theme park queen, y'all). You'll want to ride it at least a couple of times, and the lines can get long, so plan on arriving at the park early and heading straight to Hogwarts first thing. Follow it up by visiting the Wand Shop right away (there's a little show that is also a must-see, but the lines also become prohibitively long soon after the park opens). Finally don't miss the restaurant (a frosty glass of butterbeer is the perfect drink for those hot Orlando afternoons!) and the perfectly-themed shops.
